3. Division: Transport, culture, foreign affairs, economic affairs, ecclesiastical affairs and business

The division handles the responsibilities of the Ministry of Finance in the policy areas of foreign affairs, industry, business and financial affairs, culture, cities and rural districts and ecclesiastical affairs and transport. Additionally, the division has a focus on large infrastruc-ture projects.

Within the specified policy areas, the division prepares decision proposals and conducts expenditure analysis in order to propose initiatives to enhance efficient governance. Furthermore, the division deals with all matters concerning the national budget within the specified policy areas, including budget preparation etc.

The division is responsible for the budgets of The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (§ 6.), The Ministry of Industry, Business and Financial Affairs (§ 8.), The Ministry of Economic Affairs (§ 10.), The Ministry of Culture (§ 21.), The Ministry of Cities and Rural Districts and Ecclesiastical Affairs (§ 22.) and The Ministry of Transport (§ 28.).
