The Danish economy has been expanding since the summer of 2009 after the sharp setback that followed the international financial crisis.

Growth over the last year has been driven by private and public consumption, public investments, as well as a slowdown in the reduction of inventories. In addition, exports showed healthy growth in the 1st half of this year.
