Central government financing requirement in 2015 and 2016

On Tuesday, September 29 at 10.00 AM, Budget Outlook 3, September 2015 will be available at fm.dk.

The estimates of the central government net financing and financing requirement in 2015 and 2016 are presented in table 1 below. The central government financing requirement is expected to be DKK 156bn in 2015 and DKK 176bn in 2016. 

The financing requirement is met through borrowing or by drawing on the central government account, cf. press release of January 30, 2015 on the suspension of the issuance of domestic and foreign bonds. Issuance of bonds resumes October 1, 2015. 

The financing strategy is published by Danmarks Nationalbank on the website of the government debt management office.
