Central government financing requirement in 2015 and 2016

On Monday, August 24 at 10.00 AM, Budget Outlook 2, August 2015 will be available at fm.dk.

The estimates of the central government net financing and financing requirement in 2015 and 2016 are presented in table 1 below. The central government financing requirement is expected to be DKK 150bn in 2015 and DKK 167bn in 2016. 

It is noted, that the financing requirement is higher than anticipated in the technical central government budget proposal for 2016 (FFL16) due to budget technicalities.

The financing requirement is met through borrowing or by drawing on the central government account, cf. press release of January 30, 2015 on the suspension of the issuance of domestic and foreign bonds until further notice.
